Product Composition

Every woman wants what’s best for her body, and when there’s a question about safety, we take that concern very seriously. We have the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.

1. __Components selection__
 All our components and ingredients are rigorously selected, evaluated, and meet or exceed the requirements of applicable European (e.g. REACH, cosmetic regulation, in so far applicable) and French regulations. Over 1,800 quality tests are carried out on pad materials before they are used in pads.

2. __Independent certification__
 Our Always® pad portfolio of products has been accredited since 2016 by Skin Health Alliance confirming that our products have met a thorough set of skin safety requirements.

3. __Independent testing__
 Independent laboratories conduct over 20,000 tests on our pads and their components every year.

Galab is an independent European laboratory, recognised for their high quality tests. The results confirm the absence of harmful substances and more precisely of phthalates.

__1-2 Topsheet and secondary topsheet__
 Soft top layer and secondary layer made of synthetic materials similar to those used in garments and in underwear. These synthetic materials are used to quickly channel the liquids into the absorbent core and keep your skin dry.

__3 Absorbent core__
 Flexible core made from absorbent cellulose. In a different thinner form, this material is used in different items such as tea bags & everyday garments. This absorbent material has been used in pads since 1920s. The flexible core is wrapped in a thin synthetic layer to keep it together with absorbent gel pearls added to the core, to improve the absorbency.

__4 Odour Neutralizing Technology__
 Our Odour Neutralizing Technology is an exclusive material that contains selected components with a light scent similar to perfume. It is applied to the bottom of the absorbent core layer; thus optimized to mask and neutralize malodour in pads.

__5 Backsheet__
 Moisture proof back layer made from synthetic materials to keep the fluid inside.

__6 Adhesives__
 Adhesive is used to ensure the pad adheres to panty.
