Having to stay at home isn’t always easy and can even darken your mood at times. If you do tend to feel down, try seeing the positive in things. This may not be easy but a sunny disposition can boost your immune system and lower instances of depression. It can also help lower your blood pressure and improve your quality of sleep.
Also get out of the house when you can or sit at an open window. Sunlight is a source of vitamin D and this helps our brains release mood-boosting endorphins and serotonin. Try to enjoy the sun for at least 30 minutes and to two hours a day. If the weather is bad, you can SAD lights which have the same effect.
