No, our materials are purified using an elemental chlorine-free purification processes.
Why is any bleaching done on pads?
We use an elemental chlorine-free process to purify the fibres used in our products. Purification eliminates impurities and cleans the fibres. Whitening
the fibres is a result of this process, but not its goal.
I’ve heard talk that pads contain toxic amounts of dioxin. Is this true?
No, the fibre purification involves an elemental chlorine-free process which does not cause the production of dioxin.
Do you have toxic dyes in your pads?
No we do not. The colour on our pads is from pigments that have been rigorously assessed to assure they can be used safely.
